etiq-anjou-village Aged in oak cask, this is a well structured wine. But it keeps its lightness and its fruity aspect that are typical from the Loire Valley.

Vines & Grapes

Grape Variety : 100 % Cabernet Franc
Age of Vines : 30 to 60 years old
Soil Type : Altered metamorphic rock ( green metagraywacke) with a medium sandy silt at the ground level. Average depth of 85 cm.


Pressing : maceration during 15 days. The wine is stirred every 2 days.
Vinification : Ageing in oak barrel for 12 months.

Tasting Notes

Colour : Deep brilliant garnet-red
Bouquet : Complex, licorice, toast, jammy fruits and some green peper.
Taste : Ample, black fruits with a slight note of coconut, structured but smooth.
Serving Suggestions : Red meats and venison will match perfectly with the nice strucuture of this Anjou Villages.
