Cabernet d'Anjou 2015 PDO

The 2015 vintage boasts pleasant red fruit aromas which are a product of the sand-clay soils which sustain the vines. It is a well-balanced wine with a touch of delicacy.

Vines & Grapes

Grape Variety : 100 % Cabernet Franc
Age of Vines : 7 to 12 years old
Soil Type : Altered rock (metagraywacke) and clay-gravel with a sandy silt at the ground level. Average depth of 85 cm.


Pressing : Pneumatic press - 50% Direct and 50% after maceration.
Vinification : Fermentation in vat at controlled-low temperature between 16°c and 18°c.

Tasting Notes

Colour : Peach pink
Bouquet : Fruity, it gives subtle wild strawberry aromas.
Taste : Fresh and fruity, it reveals hints of red fruits
Serving Suggestions : It is excellent with starters. It also goes extremely well with grilled red meats and oriental food. A veined cheese is a perfect pairing. For dessert, chocolate will highlight the red fruit hints.
