etiquette-coteaux Despite a mild summer, the 2014 vintage had an outstanding late summer.This led to the development of noble rot under perfect conditions, giving this exceptional wine an aromatic quality.The strength of this wine is in its expression of natural aromas, such as fruits and fresh pineaple.

Vines & Grapes

Grape Variety : 100 % chenin
Age of Vines : 30 years old
Soil Type : Altered rock (metagraywacke) with a medium sandy silt at the ground surface. Average depth of 80 cm.


Harvest : Hand picking with successive selections. This cuvee is made from only the best grapes characterised by Noble Rot.

Pressing : Pneumatic press – Soft and slow
Vinification : Long fermentation until December, then maturation in vat until March.

Tasting Notes

Colour : Straw yellow
Bouquet : Fresh fruits and exotic fruits and a pronounced natural pineapple-like flavour.
Taste : Fresh and indulgent. After an initial, rather lively attack on the palate the wine yields to the aromas of white fruits accented with a hint of honey.
Serving Suggestions : To accompany appetizers or sweet starters. It also pairs well with blue-veined cheeses with walnuts. It is also the perfect accompaniment to desserts containing chocolate and exotic fruits.
