Rosé de Loire 2015 PDO

Thanks to a particularly sunny autumn, the 2015 vintage is an especially good Rosé with intensified aromas of red fruits and citrus. On the palate, it gives richness and freshness, which are linked to the age of the plot and the grape’s ripeness.

Vines & Grapes

Grape Variety : 40 % Grolleau Noir and 60 % Cabernet Franc
Age of Vines : 30 years old
Soil Type : Altered metamorphic rock ( green metagraywacke) with a medium sandy silt at the ground level. Average depth of 85 cm.


Harvest : Hand-picking

Pressing : Pneumatic press - Direct
Vinification : Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled vats between 16°c and 18°c and malolactic fermentation at 50%.

Tasting Notes

Colour : Pink with salmon reflections
Bouquet : Very fruity and complex. The nose is expressive and marked by notes of red fruits and citrus.
Taste : Smooth and fruity, notes of candy and tangerine
Serving Suggestions : This wine is perfect for canapés or starters: a plate of cured meats for example. Its beautiful simplicity means that it goes well with barbecued dishes such as sausages. It is also the ideal accompaniment to fruity desserts.
